Accra, Ghana — At the 96th Anniversary Breakfast Meeting of the Christian Council of Ghana (CCG), held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Accra, Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee delivered an inspiring message urging Christians to translate their faith into visible transformation in society.
She emphasized that Ghana’s true spiritual revival and national development depend on believers living out Christlike values in every sphere of life from the workplace to the home and public service.
Addressing the gathering of clergy and Christian leaders, Rev. Dr. Aryee reflected on the Council’s nearly century long journey, describing it as a testament to faith, unity, and resilience. She encouraged the Church to view this milestone as a call to renewed purpose, greater collaboration, and deeper service to the nation.
“Our 96-year story should not just be one of survival but of steadfast commitment to unity and nation building,” she noted, urging Christians to live as moral beacons and active agents of change.
Rev. Dr. Aryee also challenged churches and faith-based organizations to “own the mission” of the gospel, depending on God’s provision rather than external donors.
She further called for continuous intercession for Ghana’s leaders, particularly the President and government officials, to make courageous decisions that uphold righteousness and protect the environment.
Highlighting issues such as illegal mining (“galamsey”), she appealed to the Church to use its influence to combat practices that destroy both the nation’s moral and natural resources.
