The Cedar Mountain Chapel International branch of the Assemblies of God (AG) in East Legon has been recognized for its remarkable contribution to gospel music, both in Ghana and beyond.
The General Superintendent of AG Ghana, Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam, testified that the Cedar Mass Choir has taken music ministry to a higher level in Christ.

Speaking during the church’s Prayer and Fasting program, held under the theme “Pray Without Ceasing,” Rev. Dr. Wengam commended the choir for their excellence and dedication to God’s work.
“They have taken music to another level. Even in this service, I testify of their quality music, excellent performance, and commitment at the highest peak. I am very proud of this choir,” he said.

He further highlighted the choir’s growing international reach.
“How many of you know that this choir has gone international? I travelled with them to Nairobi, Kenya, and then to Malawi. I am trusting God that in the coming years we will go to many more countries. Each time I travel with them, they do not disappoint. God bless my people,” Rev. Dr. Wengam added.
The Cedar Mass Choir continues to inspire congregations with spirit-filled music, raising the banner of Christ through excellence in worship.
