In a beautiful act of compassion and solidarity, the National Union of Ghana Catholic Diocesan Priests’ Associations (NUGCDPA) made a generous donation of GHS 100,000 to assist Ms. Victoria Atsoribo in undergoing plastic surgery at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
The donation, which was made in the spirit of Christ’s love and mercy, will provide hope and healing to Ms. Atsoribo, who has been in need of urgent medical care.
Rev. Fr. Henry Cafuie Ahorlu, President of the Accra Archdiocesan Priests’ Association, presented the donation on behalf of NUGCDPA.
He was joined by other clergy, including Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obeng Codjoe, Public Relations Officer of the Union; Rev. Fr. Michael Apaloo, Catholic Chaplain at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital; and Rev. Fr. Carl Kwao-Agboado from the Catholic Diocese of Ho.
In a heartwarming gesture of unity and support, a copy of the Ecce Sacerdos Magazine was also presented to the dedicated nurses of the Plastic Surgery Department at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital as a token of appreciation for their selfless service.

This charitable effort was made possible through the heartfelt donations of priests from across the country, following an appeal by Rev. Fr. Thaddeus Kuusah, the President of the Union.
In addition, many lay faithful, upon hearing of the need, generously contributed to the cause, further exemplifying the Body of Christ coming together in unity to care for one another.
NUGCDPA extends its deepest gratitude to all who contributed to this noble cause. We pray that the good Lord continues to bless and guide everyone involved, and may He abundantly reward the hearts of all those who answered the call to serve.
To God be the glory for the gift of life and the spirit of charity that binds us all in His love.
