The Dampong Trinity Presbyterian Church, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, celebrated 130 years of impactful ministry, spiritual nurture, and dedicated service.
Since its founding in 1894 by Evangelist Osebu Tutu, the church has grown from six initial converts to a strong congregation that has hosted 24 catechists and 9 ministers.
Though it took over a century to host its first stationed minister, the church has since built a school, cocoa farm, and three manses, and is currently constructing a new office and children’s chapel.
The Chairperson of the Asante Akyem Presbytery, Rev. David Aboagye-Danquah, led the service and encouraged members to remain rooted in faith while building the next generation.
