The Presbyterian Women’s Centre in Abokobi has taken a significant step toward economic empowerment and ministry sustainability with the dedication of its newly established Faith Mart. The dedication ceremony took place on Friday, June 13, 2025, marking a new chapter in the Centre’s efforts to support women and strengthen its programs.

Leading the dedication was Very Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey, former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. He was joined by Rev. Mrs. Artishia Nana Owusua Svanikier, Director of the Centre, and Mrs. Sheila Minkah-Premo (Esq.), Chairperson of the Centre’s Board.
Faith Mart is envisioned as a refreshment hub for guests and visitors to the Centre. It offers a range of snacks, pastries, and Salem Water products. Beyond meeting the immediate needs of patrons, the Mart is expected to generate steady income to sustain the Centre’s ongoing training programs, outreach efforts, and ministry operations.

Speaking at the event, Rev. Mrs. Svanikier expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the realization of the project. She emphasized that the Mart is not just a commercial venture but a vision-driven initiative to empower women economically while ensuring the Centre’s financial stability.

Mrs. Minkah-Premo echoed this sentiment, highlighting the role of economic empowerment in advancing the mission of the Church and the well-being of women across the nation.
Faith Mart stands as a testament to the Presbyterian Women’s Centre’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and service.
