Church of Pentecost Leadership Mobilizes Ground-Level Engagement in Nsawam Amid 14-Day Global Fast

As The Church of Pentecost continues its 14-Day Global Fasting and Prayer initiative, top leadership of the church is moving beyond national headquarters to engage directly with congregations across the country.

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, the General Secretary of the Church, Apostle Sammy Obuobi, visited the Nsawam Area, joining worshippers at the Central Assembly for a time of fellowship and spiritual impartation.

The visit is part of a deliberate leadership strategy to reinforce the spiritual focus of the global fasting season by connecting physically with local assemblies. Apostle Obuobi’s presence in Nsawam sent a strong message of unity, pastoral care, and shared spiritual responsibility.

During the visit, he addressed the importance of spiritual discipline as a foundation for lasting growth, encouraging the congregation to embrace deeper habits of devotion. Emphasis was placed on personal engagement in waiting on God, prayer, and fasting—not just during this special season, but as a lifestyle for every believer.

The leadership’s active participation in the fast has been widely commended across the church, inspiring many local assemblies to intensify their efforts during this period of consecration. The Nsawam event is one of many regional engagements scheduled nationwide, with church executives visiting various areas to strengthen and stir up spiritual fervor among the members.

This approach reflects The Church of Pentecost’s continued commitment to grassroots discipleship and transformational leadership, especially in spiritually significant seasons
