The Perez Dome was filled with joy and inspiration on Saturday as Perez University College held its 9th Graduation Ceremony, bringing together graduates, families, and dignitaries from across the nation. Under the compelling theme “Redefining Ghana’s Future: Graduates at the Heart of Economic Reset and 24-Hour Economy,” the event highlighted the transformative role of higher education in national development.
The ceremony featured a lineup of distinguished speakers and guests who left a lasting impression on the class of 2025:
Prof. Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai, Guest of Honor, challenged graduates to pursue excellence with integrity, emphasizing the link between academia and national progress.
Hon. Samuel Nartey George, Guest Speaker and Member of Parliament, delivered a passionate charge to the graduates, urging them to innovate, remain resilient, and become solution-driven leaders in Ghana’s evolving economy. Rev. Dr. B.K Emmanuel Essilfie opened the ceremony in prayer, inviting God’s presence and favor upon all proceedings.
With Presiding Bishop Raymond Kuma Acquah closed the event with a powerful prayer of thanksgiving, sending forth the graduates with God’s blessing.
The event was also honored by the presence of Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus), Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central Constituency, whose appearance reflected the strong partnership between the university and its wider community.
Also in attendance was Hon. Sylvester Mensah, CEO of the Ghana Export-Import Bank, as well as respected chiefs and traditional leaders, each adding cultural richness and support to the milestone celebration.
