REV STEPHEN WENGAM AND WIFE VISIT VOLTA NORTH REGION FOR 2025 APOSTOLIC VISIT

The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, and the National President of the Ministers’ Wives Association, Lady Mrs. Monica Dela Wengam, embarked on an Apostolic Visit to the Volta North Region on Wednesday, 28th May 2025. The event was held at Revival Assemblies of God, Hohoe.

In attendance were pastors and their spouses, retired ministers and their spouses, as well as widows of deceased ministers.

Rev. Wengam led a powerful three-and-a-half-hour prayer session focused on revival, support for distressed ministers in deprived areas, and local church projects. He also led married couples in a renewal of their wedding vows and encouraged all present to make prayer a core culture in their churches, referencing Matthew 21:12–15.

Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, in her address, praised the dedication and sacrifices of pastors and their spouses. She also presented gifts in line with a Holy Spirit-inspired initiative to support ministers, especially those in need:

1. Widows and wives of retired ministers received an undisclosed cash gift and a piece of cloth each.

2. Retired ministers received a cash gift.

3. Wives of pastors present received a piece of cloth each.

The Regional Superintendent, Rev. John Oddu, honored the first couple of the church with Holy Spirit emblem badges in recognition of their commitment to revival and spiritual renewal. He expressed the region’s deep appreciation for their visit and the compassionate gesture shown to the ministers and their families.
