The Diocese of Sunyani on Sunday, August 18, 2025, hosted a vibrant celebration of the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary at the Mary Queen of Peace Grotto, drawing thousands of Catholic faithful, priests, and religious.

The event, which crowned a four-day spiritual program beginning August 14, was presided over by His Excellency Most Rev. Julien Kaboré, Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana.
