Wassa Amenfi Central DCE attends Thanksgiving Service

Mr Peter Amponsah, the Wassa Amenfi Central District Chief Executive (DCE), has attended a Thanksgiving Service at Ankaasei Roman Catholic Church to honour God for his appointment as the DCE for the area.

The Reverend Father Akwasi Egyan, Parish Priest for Agona Amenfi Catholic Church, preaching on a theme: “For all things, give thanks to God”, urged the congregation to always give thanks to the Lord no matter how difficult things were.

The Rev. Father used the occasion to call for peace and unity among the people to help the DCE and the Member of Parliament to achieve their vision for the area.

He also prayed for God’s protection, guidance, strength and wisdom for the DCE, MP and their families.

Mr Amponsah expressed his profound gratitude to all particularly the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, the church, traditional leaders, family, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party members for their overwhelming support and promised to work hard for the development of the district.

Mr Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the MP for Amenfi Central, promised to collaborate with the DCE to bring the needed development to the constituency.

She highlighted some major development challenges such as poor road conditions, educational facilities and many others, and called on the people to support them with prayers to be able to develop the constituency.
